The Impulse collection is an invitation to follow your heart and be free. This collection feature pieces that take a life of their own: patterns on patterns, solids on patterns..The pieces speak their language as the fabrics intertwine to scream afro-modernity. It is summer and the Dione Mauve -Impulse is to embrace colour, style and quirkiness. What’s yours?
Inspiration: The Impulse collection was inspired by a “Nigerian Summer”. It is reminiscent of the celebration, music, laughter and harmony. The bright colours of pieces represent Nigeria’s positivity; the earthy colours represent her potential. The entire collection represents her beauty and the impulses Nigeria creates in us.

This is the debut collection for Dione Mauve. It features clutch purses and wristlets made with a combination of vinyl and traditional/ankara fabrics. The pieces are very detailed, but subtle, creating a complex simplicity.
This collection was inspired by the beautiful women in my life and their influence on my style is visible in the design of the purses. The purse names are formed from the first letters of their names. Meet the purses of the Collection, dedicated to the beautiful women in my life that are my support, motivation and critiques. The Beauty of a role model is the ability to model
Dione Mauve represents an outlet for my expression of love, life and passion. It is the physical interpretation of my “self”. A “self” that believes in the diversity and the evolution of individual style. Dione Mauve is an advocate for a movement called Afro-modernity. This is a movement founded on the basis that cuture must not exist in isolation of the modern world. Instead, they fuse into style, not to be diluted, but to create a mosaic of identity.
Dione Mauve is a Fashion House that believes in the expression of beauty through clarity and truth and the celebration of self. This label promises a uniqueness that goes beyond superficial, to a reality that individuality is key in an identity built upon consciousness and self-awareness.
Dione Mauve represents Afro-modernity. Afro-modernity is a complex movement towards the fusion of culture into the modern era. How does culture compete with modernity? It doesn’t, it merges into Dione Mauve pieces.
Dione Mauve is invading the modern world with bouts of African culture. The only antidote is to join the movement.
Dione Mauve is my Bastille of Beauty and my gift to the world.
